Description
Silica cloth CT 11-30K (88) made on the Makhachkala factory. Their main purpose – high temperature insulation.
Makhachkala glass factory – direct receiver enterprise, founded in 1964. During this time the concern was able to become one of the leaders in Russia. This is facilitated by the constant increase in production capacity, technical re-equipment, expansion of assortment and increase production volume.
Non heat-treated fiber – porous and hydrated. They contain up to 10% moisture. In the treatment of it is removed, and the pores are closed. The material shrinks and becomes denser. A lubricant is burned, so heat-treated tapes do not contain it.

- Resistance to molten metal;
- The inertness to most chemical compounds.
Silica fabrics are used for high temperature insulation of pipes, cables, for edging fiberglass as a filler for composite materials.Silica fabrics CT-11-30K (88) is kept constant temperature operation up to 1000 degrees and temporarily – to 1700 degrees. They are widely used in industry, mechanical engineering and aircraft, for filtration of corrosive media in the petrochemical industry and metallurgy. They are also used for the manufacture of fireproof enclosures, protective clothing.
