Basalt fabrics TBA-100 (100) are made on the Makhachkala factory. They are made of basalt roving or twisted yarn plain weave. They can replace the silica and asbestos cloth in the regeneration of high-temperature insulation equipment, pipelines and furnaces in the regeneration of filters for the purification of liquids and gases, in the manufacture of composite materials.

Description
There are two main types of basalt fiber – continuous and staple. Home and defining characteristic – Thickness:
- microfine fibers – 0.6 microns. Used for fine cleaning of gas or liquid filter medium, and for making special paper and thin products. </ Li>
- Ultra thin – up to 1 micron. They are used for ultra-light thermal insulation products and fine filters. </ Li>
- Super-thin – 1-3 microns. Used for the manufacture of heat sound protection tufted mats, laminated nonwovens stitch-bonded fabrics, etc. </ Li>
- The thin – 15 microns. They are used in construction and industry for the manufacture of a variety of insulating materials. </ Li>
- Thick – up to 25 microns. They are produced by vertically blowing the melt jets steam or air. This is the basic material for the manufacture of tufted mats, webs and plates. Thick basalt fibers are widely used in the regeneration of the filter and drainage waterworks systems. </ Li>
