Description
Basalt fabric BT-100 (100) are made on the Makhachkala factory. They are used for the production of basalt and as high temperature insulation.
Basalt fiber – a synthetic material made of natural minerals. Basalt is melted and converted into a fiber. The process can introduce various additives and impurities. It used this fiber for reinforcement and insulation of various objects.
Among the advantages of BT-100 basalt fabric (100);
- Environmentally friendly and non-toxic;
- Ability to use temperatures up to 700 degrees and above;
- The service life of up to 50 years;
- Resistant to mildew and rot;
- Resistance to acidic and alkaline media;
- Vibration, which allows the use of basalt fabrics for insulating turbines.
Also basaltic materials offer such important properties:
- The porosity provides optimal thermal conductivity;
